GENERAL INFORMATION
The International Forum of Information Security Specialists was launched in 2012 by the specialists of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the Institute of Journalism of the Borys Grinchenko University of Kyiv. During the first few years of existence, the project was implemented in the format of diverse conferences, seminars, author workshops. Subsequently, a professional expert environment was formed on its base, and the Military Institute of the T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University, NGO «Civil Society Development Agency» NGO and the International Center for Security and Defense (Estonia) Foundation became permanent partners of the project.
Over the past few years, the forum has been held under the umbrella of «INFORMATION SAFETY: ACTUAL TRENDS» and brings together a large audience of experts and listeners from many countries around the world. In particular, among the participants of the meeting were representatives of such countries as: Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Israel, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Turkey. Each year, the Forum collects online-150-200 on-line and 15-20 thousand professionals who share knowledge and experience in the form of panel discussions, master classes, presentations, reports and webinars. Until last year, the Forum was held mostly in the format of non-public meetings and is only now gaining openness and media.
Traditionally, independent foreign and Ukrainian experts, journalists, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Information Policy, KNU named after T. Shevchenko, the Academy of Management under the President of Ukraine, regional authorities and institutions of higher education from different regions participate in the project.

Fifth Annual International Forum of Information Security Experts «INFORMATION SAFETY: ACTUAL TRENDS_2018» will sum up the development of security technologies for the current year. The main MEYSTERM of the year and the Forum are innovative methods and means of using soft power in modern hybrid confrontations.
